The orchid family has always raised plenty of excitement in humans, whether by its beauty or their economic and scientific interest. Numerous collectors, explorers, botanists and artists have devoted their lives to the study, representation and knowledge of these beautiful plants.
The Real Jardín Botánico of Madrid houses a vast collection of orchids, more than 300 species, some of which can be enjoyed by visitors in its Santiago Castroviejo Exhibition Greenhouse.
